When the going got tough, Chase kept on going! Knee surgery wasn’t about to keep him down…especially since he needed to be able to dance at his upcoming wedding! Even though he’s worked incredibly hard through a challenging recovery, Chase always made sure to joke around and have fun in the process.

And guess who’s ready boogie down with his bride on big day!!!

- Dr. Marnie Wortman, DPT

In Chase’s Own Words…

1) List Three Words to Describe You:

Active, determined, helpful

2)  What Brought You Into Physical Therapy?

I had knee surgery in February.

3) How would you describe physical therapy?

Physical therapy is a helpful tool to living more comfortably no matter how big or small your issues may be.

4)  What exercise or technique helped you most?

The stretches Dr. Wortman begins every session with, as well as the balance and range of motion work.

5)  What would you say to someone who is living in pain and putting off physical therapy?

Stop procrastinating and do it. After 4 months of severe pain from knee surgery, my knee feels better than it has in over a decade…and it finally feels like this is a sustainable solution.

6) What are you excited to get back to after physical therapy?

I can’t wait to get back to CrossFit, golf, and running.

6) What did you enjoy most about the physical therapy experience?

The progress of going from not being able to walk after my surgery to where I am now has been extremely rewarding, and it is only getting better each day.
