Quick Dynamic Golf Warmup Routine | 3 Exercises to Prep Your Body

A good golf warm up ensures you get the most of out of your body on the course. It can also help you avoid injury!!

Even if you don’t have a lot of time to stretch and get your blood flowing, Dr. Taylor Payne-DPT, demonstrates 3 easy exercises you can do before tee time. It’s the perfect warm up, especially if you’re running late to the golf course. Plus, there’s no extra equipment needed - just your golf club!

You can do the quick golf warm up in this video anywhere, just make sure youre’ moving the whole time and doing each exercise with correct form. Here are the exercises involved:

  1. Good Mornings with Golf Club

  2. Rotation with Golf Club Behind Your Back

  3. Rotation with Golf Club In Front (Add this exercise to the end of your routine, or in place of the 2nd exercise if you cannot reach behind your back)
