There are few things we enjoy more at Iron Physical Therapy than being able to be part of a passionate running community. Over the last few years, we have had the particular pleasure of working with the runners of Jersey Women Strong LLC, northern NJ’s largest all-women’s running and multi-sport club.

Whether it be a talk about injury prevention or a dynamic workout members can use before every run, a quick trip to Ridgewood, NJ to be with this group is always a blast! Their mission is to to empower women to improve their own well-being through physical fitness and exercise - something we are so passionate about as well! At least once a year, Dr. Marnie Wortman has met these runners at the Ridgewood Duck Pond for some pre-run strengthening…but her favorite is to join in on their annual Ugly Sweater Shuffle 5k in Saddle River County Park every December!
