Tom came into the clinic after his shoulder surgery eager to know when he could get back to training for football! He especially wanted a timeline for when he could return to the weight room. He was ready to do anything he could to get back to what he loved. Each day at PT he would work hard at any challenges I threw at him, ask for more to do at home, and say “Dr. Payne, what are we going to do next time I come to PT?”

His dedication to understanding the rehab process and what’s best for his healing and recovery was (and still is) impeccable. I truly believe that he will be walking into his senior year stronger than he ever was because he took the time to apply what he learned in PT! I can’t wait to see all the personal records in the weight room and the stellar performance he will have on the football field next season. Tom certainly figured out how to get better, be better on all fronts during his time at Iron.
